Key challenge: Our client, a prominent Italian coffee company, came to us with the need to synchronize and visualize marketing data across multiple promotional channels. Their existing workflows did not rely on APIs and the company lacked an understanding of the structure of their data.
Result after working with Improvado: Custom dashboards were developed to visualize the data after its automatic extraction and load it into the company's data warehouse. In addition to empowering quick, data-driven marketing decisions, this approach now saves 80-100 hours of engineering resources per week.
Illycaffe (or simply ''illy'') is an Italian coffee company that distributes a variety of products across more than 140 countries worldwide. In addition to that, the Illy group is composed of companies form North America, France, Spain, Germany, and Italy, which made a centralized marketing approach even more complex for their HQ.
Given that Illy is an international company interested in selling their products to the residents of more than 140 countries, their marketing efforts were divided into localized clusters based on the prevalent media sources in eachcountry. This vast pool of data was increasingly complex to analyze, leading to poor data aggregation and loss of potential marketing value.
We designed a solution capable of synchronizing the entire data pool into a well-designed, customizable dashboard that presents any and all relevant insights regarding audiences and their preferences to senior management.
Our efforts have empowered the client to design rich and informative marketing dashboards based on data collected from hundreds of sources. Senior management on Illy’s side has complete understanding of where their marketing efforts lead while Improvado’s team has managed to save the client over 100 hours of engineering resources per week.
